Maule Valley is located in the southern part of the Central Valley of Chile. This area, where we find the largest plantations of wine grapes in all of Chile, has a tradition of grape cultivation that dates back to the 17th century. Located between the Andes Mountains and the Coastal Mountains, the Maule Valley benefits from a significant variation in temperature between day and night, with its rainy season restricted primarily to winter. These conditions allow us to obtain healthy grapes, with great concentrations of color, flavor and aromas.

SANTA MARGARITA
82 hectares
This field is located on the way to Duao, 14 km south east of Talca, in the commune of Maule. With nearly 54 hectares planted, Santa Margarita has mainly stony soil, which helps control the vif or of the vines, generating a greater concentration of the grapes.
El Pilar

Located in the commune of Maule, valley of the Maule River, in the Duao area, 7 km east of the Pan-American highway, an area with a cold climate, cool at dusk and night, with high temperatures during the day during the summer season. ripening of the grapes, which accentuates the fruit and freshness in the white strains and the intense color in the red strains. Its soils are of alluvial, stony origin, of medium depth, and their fertility is low. The plantations are tall trellises, with a good vegetative mass, with productions focused on high quality and with emphasis on obtaining the maximum fruit from each variety. El Trapiche

Located in the town of Villa Alegre - Loncomilla Valley - is the El Trapiche estate, where our winery and manufacturing winery is located, as well as part of the fine grape vineyards. The climate of this valley is characterized by a water regime with rain in the cold season and dry in the dry season; a temperate thermal regime, with an average annual temperature of 14.9ºC, with maximums of 30.8ºC in the hottest month of the year, January. The cold minimums occur in the month of July and reach 3.8 ºC. In the soil profile, a light, sandy texture predominates. The plantations are trained on trellises at different planting distances, depending on the variety and age of the vineyard. Ventolera

Located in the commune of San Javier, Loncomilla River valley, Melozal area, 17 km west of the Pan-American Highway. Warm climate area, hot during the day, but cooled by a strong breeze after midday, which somewhat attenuates the high temperature of the environment, ideal for red varieties. The soil is soft hills, with a sandy loam texture, with coarseness at low depth, so before planting it had to be subsoiled to break up the coarseness and improve the depth of the soil
